MJUMITA is implementing a project to empower the young conservation champions in improving the well-being of community life and conservation of Nyerere Selous-Udzungwa wildlife corridor. This project has a major goal to reduce conflicts between humans and wildlife through the cultivation of palm trees and fish farming, especially for the Village Game Scouts (VGS) in Kanyenja Village as an incentive to encourage conservation. The project is funded by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) through the GEF-Small Grants Program. In this case MJUMITA calls for a consultant to facilitate training on aquaculture.
